The NGO "Reporters without borders" fights internet censorship and asked us to call for attention to this matter. We decided to target an online ad specifically at critical minded persons – people who take part in online conversations and are most likely to support the concerns of Reporters without borders. The best way to talk about online censorship is by actually practicing it. So we censored people’s comments with a banner on online newspapers. After the commenter typed a few words, the text was deleted and a fake message was written and posted onto the website.
